The huts are situated in the grounds of the owners.

Each Shepherds hut has its own private hot tub and its own toilet /shower block and patio area – Hut 1 is pet friendly.

Local nature reserve & more

We have a lovely local walk only 2 miles away from our Shepherds huts. It is ‘Bolton Fell Moss nature reserve’ where 3km of ‘boardwalk’ has been laid so that it can be used whatever the weather. It is Free to use and has a small car park at the entrance.

We are only 6 miles from the historic town of Brampton which has many interesting shops and places to eat and drink.

We are also ideally situated to visit Hadrians wall, Gretna Green and the Lake district.

We are on the ‘Reiver’ cycle route

Such a beautiful place.

The hut was very clean and cosy, Beautiful views especially the sunrise and sheep in the morning. Christine and James were so welcoming, attentive and had so much advice on the area, nothing was too much if we needed anything. All the little touches like our names on the hearts, flowers, chocolates and wine
